Over the years AMEA has grown to a cluster of sites, known as AmeaNet. Currently there are 5 member sites and 2 free sites belonging to this chain.

Each site has a specific subject and audience. The site you are looking at now is serving vintage movies and is offering an opportunity for members to share private videos.

Each AmeaNet site has its own membership and the fee is based on the amount of data traffic the sites generate. Unlike the The Vintage Photograhs Section with a membership of a full year, the membership of this site is 2 months.

The reason is obvious. Video sites generate an awful lot of - costly - data traffic. You will probably ask yourself why a site as YouTube can spend millions of dollars on data traffic without asking a contribution from its members.
Well, the answer to that is a mistery for now.

Here at AmeaNet our goal is to create a quality archive of vintage erotic and pornographic movies and and at the same time offer a platform for people who want to post their own "naughty movies". The latter because we believe that so called amateurs produce material that is a lot more enticing than the robotic and plastic scenes produced by the porn industry today.

Could I compare this site to for instance PornTube.com?

There is nothing wrong with PornTube or its competitors. In fact the site is a necessity, because YouTube employees seem to be terrified of nudity. A naked behind as a rule defies their censorship rules, but (female) nipples really upset them. We see no good reason why they cannot have a protected area for adult videos. Maybe they will in the near future -- following an old Internet concept invented by search engines who used to start out as family oriented projects until they discovered what those families were actually looking for.
